Happy World Creativity & Innovation Day! Today we celebrate the power of human ingenuity and imagination to shape the world for the better. We believe that creativity and innovation are essential for solving complex problems and creating positive change in our society.
The purpose of this day is to raise awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development. However, there may be no universal understanding of creativity. The concept is open to interpretation from artistic expression to problem-solving in the context of economic, social and sustainable development.
Unleashing the potential of creativity and innovation
Think Human Foundation believes that social and emotional learning are important in developing a creative mindset and innovative skills for youth. We have partnered up with different associations which enhance creativity and innovation skills in young children.
- In Guatemala, Glasswing encourages our volunteers to participate in art classes in extracurricular clubs.
- The 35 youth from difficult background of Barcelona created a photo exhibition with Foto Colectania in Spain after Sessions of training on photography, analysis of designs, images, art exhibitions
- Working Rite is a multi-award-winning Scottish charity transforming lives of young children through empowering them with skills that they need to break the poverty cycle. Their program is individually tailored to highlight their existing skills and turn their weaknesses into their strengths. It allows youth to gain work experience, build their self-confidence and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
- Dignity for Children provides learning spaces outside the four walls of the traditional classrooms. The goal is to build an inclusive and positive learning environment for students to develop their academic, social and emotional competencies, while empowering them to become resilient individuals.
Together with our associations, we aim to empower young people through digital, social, and emotional learning. We believe that with these skills acquired from this type of learning, their creativity and innovation skills will be stimulated.
